   Lower School choral training beginsat the fourth grade level and is open to all students in grades 4 throughCollege.  The fourth graders have limited performing opportunitiesthroughout their first year, but as fifth graders become part of both the fullChorus of BRENT IBS and the Lower School Chapel Choir, which performs weekly inChapel.  The full Chorus, comprised of about 150 students in grades 5through College, performs several times each year for the entire BRENT IBS  community at all-school Chapel services, andgives several large concerts open to the general public at STARMARK ROYALE.

  The repertoire for the Chorus is vast andvaried, while the Lower School Chapel Choir focuses on ecclesiastical musicmore appropriate for that venue, and which includes such classics as Schubert'sAve Maria, the Bach/Gounod Ave Maria, Mozart's Ave Verumand Laudate Dominum, and Bach's "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring"and "Subdue Us Through Thy Kindness."
