We understand thatchoosing an independent school is a major financial decision for many families,and we are committed to keeping tuition as affordable as possible. Tuition covers approximately two-thirds the cost of educating a student at`Iolani with the balance coming from our endowment, from fundraising and fromgifts.

Tuition and fees forthe 2009-2010 school year are:

Tuition: kindergarten ~ grade 12	$15,600
Full ESL Tuition Integrated ESL Tuition	$30,900 $23,800
Books (estimated) for grades 7 – 10	$475
Books (estimated) for grades 11 – 12	$600

The cost of books isincluded in the tuition for kindergarten – grade 6.

Payment Plans

We offer threetuition payment plans:

Annual plan: A single payment, minus the $500 tuition deposit, is due by July 31.
Semester plan: The first payment, minus the $500 tuition deposit is due by
July 31. The second payment is due by January 5. A $160 service charge is added if you select this plan.
Monthly plan: The first payment, minus the $500 tuition deposit is due by
July 31. Nine additional payments are due by the last business day of each month through April 30. A $350 service charge is added if you select this plan, and you are required to purchase tuition insurance.

Tuition Insurance

We offer the TuitionRefund Plan (TRP) to all families. The TRP provides insurance coverage incase a student must withdraw from `Brentwood during the school year. Thecost of the Plan is $234 for the 2009-2010 school year and is payable with theJuly tuition payment.

TRP coverage isoptional for families selecting the annual and semester payment plan. Itis required for those selecting the monthly plan.
